Recipe type: Dessert| Red Velvet Cupcake
Ingredients: -
All-purpose flour: ½ cup
Milk Powder: 1/3 cup.
Chocolate powder: ¼ cup.
Salt: 1/3 tsp.
Egg: 02 pieces
Sugar: ½ cup
Vegetable Oil: ½ cup
Red food color: 01 tbsp.
Cider vinegar (Bicarbonate of soda): 01 tbsp.
Baking powder: 01 and ½ tsp
Vanilla extract: 01 tsp
Method:
Mix all-purpose wheat flours, milk powder, chocolate powder and salt in the bowl.
Combine eggs, white sugar, vegetable oil in the bowl. Meanwhile, add flour mixture and whisk gently until thick and fluffy. Mix Cider vinegar (Bicarbonate of soda) and Baking powder and add to cake mixture then add vanilla extract. Whip mixture about 10 minutes. Keep it aside for 1 and ½ hour – 2 hours. The batter will keep at room temperature.
Lightly mix oil muffin pans being careful not to leave any uncoated and fill cupcake liners into the muffin pan. filling each cup 2/3 full with spoon.
Take a pressure cooker, place the perforated metal plate and place the pan and cover with the lid (Must sure pull off the pressure cooker valve). Over low flame cooks for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the cupcake center comes out clean. Cool completely. Frost with Vanilla Cream Frosting.
Tips and tricks:
· Whip mixture about 10 minutes
· Mixture Keep it aside for 1 and ½ hour – 2 hours for soft cake.
· *Must sure pull off the pressure cooker valve*
