Recipe type: ChutneyIngredients: -
Tamarind/Tetul 120 gm
Gur/jaggery 2 tbsp
Black Salt 1 tsp
Roasted chili Flakes: 1tsp
Roasted Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Preparation:
Clean tamarind with water gently.
Soak tamarind in cups of water for 1 minutes.
Mash it into a pulp and strain, pressing the tamarind into the strainer to remove all the pulp. Keep aside.
Method:
Pour the tetul/tamarind juice into the saucepan and heat it over a medium flame
Add Gur / jaggery and cook 2 minutes
Add black salt and cook 4 minutes, stirring
Add Roasted chili Flakes and Roasted Cumin Powder and cook 1 minutes.
Once cooked turn off the flame and let it cool.
Adjust thickness according to your desire.
